Our team of volunteers makes Liberty International Church a success in many different ways at different times, but always with the same common purpose: helping people discover their destiny in Christ.

Communication is essential in striving to attain this goal - so, as part of the volunteer team, you’ll receive weekly updates, reminders and some ‘inside information’ as to what’s happening around Liberty. And when you sign up for our free e-newsletter, you’ll be even more plugged into Liberty’s awesome social justice programs that need your help.

You can choose an area to volunteer that works with your schedule. You’ll receive a proposed start time (day/month/year) and estimated finish time, depending on your commitment availability and seasonal needs.

We recommend you fill out the MyDestiny Profile. Answering these key questions about your strengths, skill set, talents and preferences will give you, and us, some insight into your best fit within Liberty.

The MyDestiny profile shouldn’t take a long time to fill out but it will provide you with an accurate picture of your strengths and areas of interest.  Your profile cn be filled out and submitted online, and a longer version is available at the “Discover your Destiny” booth during Sunday morning services.

Children & Student Ministries: Youth Leaders, Small Group Leaders, Sunday School Teachers, Special Event Support, Children Leaders, Nursery Workers, Rumble KIDZ Instructors, Event Chaperones, Program Mentors, Transportation Team

Event Team: Great Gift Giveaway, Back to School BASH, Christmas Parade, Water Baptism, Fun Events, Youth Special Event Team

Facilities Team: Building Maintenance, Cleaning Crew, Special Projects,

Food Services: Cafe, Special Event Meals, BBQ Team, Meal Maker

Host Team: Greeters, Ushers, Parking Attendants, Welcome Centre Support, Communion Team

Music & Media Ministry: Stage Maintenance, Set-up & Tear-down, Sound Technicians, Multimedia Manager, Powerpoint Specialists, Instrumentalists,Vocalists

If there is an area that you would like to volunteer with that is not listed here, just send us your suggestion in an email so we can follow-up with you.  Suggestions of new areas to volunteer are always welcome!  Also if you would like to volunteer in a specific area, just click on the Ministry title and complete an online application form.

Acknowledgment of Volunteer Hours Served

We make sure that your volunteer work with Liberty International Church is recognized in various ways:

• If you’re a secondary school student in Ontario, we keep careful track of how many hours of volunteer work you’ve done, to put towards your required number prior to graduation.
• We hold regular events to honour and thank our volunteers.
