iReach ‘09 & Beyond

We have engaged in an outreach campaign to reach our city with the tangible love of Christ.

It’s simple, we have an opportunity to reach thousands of people who are seeking something more out of life- hope, joy, and purpose for their lives, and we have found a solution.

Truth is most of us really never think about others until we watch late night television and we see that commercial for child sponsorships through World Vision or other humanitarian agencies. Or maybe around the holiday’s like thanksgiving or Christmas when we begin to think about the marginalized people in our cities.  But we want you to begin thinking differently, and ask God to help you see outside of yourself!

Liberty has committed our time, talents, and resources to reaching people in the city of Toronto through an advertising campaign into new communities over the next seven months.  Our hope is that we will begin to focus our reach out to over 350,000 people in our city.  The iReach ‘09 & Beyond comes in where we also want to impact others over seas as we partner with Hippo Africa to help build brighter futures in lives of many needy African families, during 2009 and into 2010.

Our campaign is in partnership with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, as they reach out into many other parts of the globe- Liberty’s main focus will be the city of Toronto.

There are three ways that we are asking you to partner with us.

1.  PRAY- kind of obvious, but pray for spiritual and numeric growth as we reach out into new communities- we want to help build spiritually strong believers in Christ -we also want to fill up the capacity at the cineplex during sunday’s worship experience.  currently we are in a 250 seat theatre, next theatre seats 350, next theatre 450 and so on….get the idea?

2.  CONNECT - Get connected to the Liberty community.  Find a place to serve as you discover your passion and talents.  Please take the online survey MYDESTINY PROFILE to help you learn more about your strengths and how you can put them to good usage.

3.  GIVE - Generous financial donations will enable Liberty to reach multitudes of people with the practical message of Christ.  Each dollar raised will go to the following top 6 initiatives:

advertising campaign ($21,000 reaching over 350,000 people)

outreach vehicle/trailer ($20,000)

shuttle bus ($6,000)

feeding program ($1,000 city children in Toronto)

building homes/well ($2,000 Africa)

Church Growth is About Opening up Possibilities for All

Liberty International Church is about so much more than bricks and mortar; we need a permanent home and are in the process of bidding on Lakeshore community properties in order to house our services and expand them further - but we focus on people, not buildings.

Our expansion plans include:

• Youth Leadership Centre: a place for developing young people for: skills training, literacy and numeracy, leadership roles in society, mentorship, and more.

• Urban Missions Experience: Groups of volunteers - from Toronto or other parts of Ontario or Canada - who join Liberty for weekend or week-long “missions” in our inner-city social justice work.

• Partner Organizations: Growing even more partnerships with not-profit organizations such as World Vision Canada, the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, and the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.

These listed Expansion Plans are just the beginning of what Liberty can accomplish!… We know the sky’s the limit when it comes to expanding our mission and spreading hope and prosperity to more Torontonians.

Our Faith in Favour and Finances

We put our faith in the Lord that we will reap the financial favour we need to build our place of worship and centre of leadership for youth, as well as reach our other goals for the Christian fellowship of Liberty International Church.

It is through the generous donations of people like you that will help make these goals a reality sooner rather than later. We know that our plans for expansion will come to pass - our heartfelt prayers have been answered in every step of Liberty’s journey to date - but your help will speed up the process of spreading hope and joy to the Lakeshore community, to Toronto, the province and the rest of the country.
