Helping Youth Prepare for Excellence

Planet KIDZ is not your ordinary Sunday school service – it’s an extraordinary one! Your kids will be begging you to bring them to church every Sunday morning.

At Liberty, we are committed to providing an engaging experience where children can learn about God, themselves and others.

We believe kids are never too young to start loving Jesus and learning his incredible lessons.

Our Plant Kidz program teaches children, ages 6 to 12, the fundamental principles of the Bible through:

• Stories
• Puppetry
• Videos
• Dance
• Songs of worship
• Children are challenged to memorize Bible verses, and are rewarded for their success.

It’s not only an environment that promotes learning, it is also one where we strongly encourage youth leadership. Planet KIDZ is Stage 1 of where our leadership development program begins.

We believe that investing in our children, and providing them with a solid moral and learning foundation, will give them a head-start in life. It is essential to us that every child that walks through the doors of Liberty International Church enters an environment where they can develop healthy relationships and receive praise and recognition for the achievements.

Becoming a Planet Kidz Jr. Leader

Once a child turns 10, he/she has the opportunity to become a Planet Kidz Jr. Leader and actually help lead the Sunday school program. We have created a dynamic platform for helping our youth prepare for excellence, by giving them a chance to develop their leadership skills.

The Planet Kidz Jr. Leaders (ages 10, 11 and 12) get to wear our special leader t-shirts and lead the kids’ praise and worship session (with a little guidance from the Planet Kidz Director, Jean Ellis).

These young leaders also act out skits and put on puppet shows for the younger Sunday school students. These are the kids who often end up as helpers at our summer camps, too.

The youth leadership skills developed by the “tweens” in the Planet Kidz program are valuable skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.

There is a special place for everyone at Liberty – so bring your kids to church so they can find their special spot! Planet Kidz runs every Sunday morning starting at approximately 11:30 a.m. following our regular worship service.
