Children 8 - 16 Shine in Free Dramatic Arts Program

Imagine a stage full of dancing, singing, joyous youth performing a unique blend of Gospel lyrics, hip hop, rap and reggae beats…

Rumble KIDZ Urban Choir was established in 2007 under the direction of Pastor Jess Di Sabatino. This group was created to provide a positive outlet for children, ages 8 - 16, to develop musical talent, leadership skills and and to teach kids how to connect with God.

This free dramatic arts program provides children with the opportunity to express themselves in a positive way, develop self-confidence, and inspire others - often it is their only opportunity to take advantage of such an exciting outlet for creative expression.

When the program was initially launched, we never anticipated having a tremendous response from the families in our community. There is such a high need for free programming to meet the demands of the many low-income families residing in Toronto.

With more than 50 children involved in the Rumble KIDZ program - it is continuously receiving requests from many families looking for ways to engage their children.

Hip Hop as a Tool to Glorify God!

Rumble KIDZ Urban Choir is not your average Christian choir - these kids fuse together gospel lyrics with rap, hip hop dance, and reggae beats to add a vibrant and youthful flavour to any gospel song. Their style brings a Christian music awakening to inspire kids and adults alike to develop a personal relationship with Jesus.

Rumble KIDZ help other children see that being a Christian is cool - and that hip hop music can be used as a positive tool to promote the glory of God.  If you have a child that is between the ages of 8-13 years old who might like to be a part of the this tremendous group of young leaders, click here to get more information about the audition dates.
