Helping young children discover their gifts and talents

At Liberty International Church, we believe that every child is a gift from God; no matter what background kids are from, they’re born for a unique purpose that only they can fulfill. Our job - as parents and as community - is to help young children discover their gifts and talents, to help them Discover their Destiny.

Many first-timers at Liberty International Church are pleasantly surprised by the number of children that attend our Sunday Morning Experience. This young, boisterous part of our congregation is by design, not by accident.

If you love children and feel that interacting with them is one of your life skills, please know that Liberty has LOTS of volunteer opportunities for you to work with the hundreds of city kids that come to our programs.

Every Child is a Gift from God and Has a Place at Liberty

• Children are the heart of Jesus.
• Watching children respond to the love and grace of Jesus reminds the rest of us how it should be done (without pretense).

Building a Community Children Can be Proud to Belong to

As a church we feel a very strong mandate towards children. Our vision for kids remains clear:

• We want to direct kids into a friendship with Jesus while they are young.
• We want to teach kids how to understand the Bible and hear God’s voice for themselves.
• We want children to pursue their dreams and destiny from an early age.
• We believe that leadership is a skill that can be learned - so each of the children in our programs has an opportunity to engage in leadership training.
• We believe that each child was designed to succeed and so try to provide opportunities where children can engage in their strengths.
• We want to teach kids to give back - so they can make a difference in individual lives and in the world.
• Our various programs are designed to show children that they can be agents of change for God’s Kingdom now.

So if you have children, please bring them along to any of our events. And don’t worry if your children aren’t pristine, perfect and as quiet as church mice – at Liberty we’re pretty sure even our mice aren’t quiet!
