Teaching Series
Current Teaching Series At Liberty:
Life presents us with a variety of challenges and difficult circumstances that often send us into a tailspin of depression or disappointment. What would happen if we lived our lives as though the challenges that we face couldn’t hinder our goals for the future? Let’s examine what the bible teaches us about living an unstoppable life.
Messages that Relate to your Life - in Podcasts, too!
We believe that the Bible is a practical book full of everyday solutions for our lives - so we tailor our messages to address common issues that people face. We endeavour to create a community that is deep in understanding, but even deeper in action – that’s why each week the notes we hand out for every Teaching Series include a “next steps” section that challenge you to do something with what you have heard.
Some of the fun and relevant topics we’ve covered in recent Teaching Series include:
- Laughing Out Loud
- Treasure Hunt
Jesus was a Revolutionary Communicator
Jesus was such a revolutionary communicator that people stayed and listened to him until they were starving - and then he had to come up with a miraculous way to feed them. In fact, people found Jesus so interesting that he basically had to run away from the masses of listeners to get time to himself! Compare that to many preachers or ministers today – people want to run away from them!
That’s why we’re really committed to talking about relevant subjects in a way that 21st-century citizens can relate to. We want to make sure that each week people are challenged to from the Bible to live meaningful lives.
We Embrace Technology to Spread our Teachings
As a community, Liberty is not afraid to use technology to help you access information, and address all kinds of learning styles (kinetic, audio and visual). In our messages, we use PowerPoint, video clips, relevant games and discussion pieces to engage each individual’s learning style. Coming soon: we’ll be experimenting with the i-clicker to help us become even more interactive in our teaching style.
