Camp InnerChange 2010 - In It To Win It!

What an amazing experience we had at a camp this year… lives have been forever changed, and memories have been created that will last a lifetime.  The kids, jr. leaders, and counselors were definitely “In It to Win It” and they were not just trying to win any random prize.  No these young children and future leaders were in it to win Jesus!  For those five days last week they were on fire for Him and we just pray that each one of them have taken the experience home with them, and will continue to walk it out in their daily lives!

Each year at Camp InnerChange children get a chance to get away from the stresses of city living and enjoy a Christ filled week away from all the distractions.  The picture above was taken during one of the worship services where all the kids were encouraged to write down their dreams for the future and then lay them on the cross & this was just one of the many life-changes moments experienced at Camp InnerChange 2010!

If you missed out this year - please don’t let the experience pass you by again because we all need to be “In It to Win It!”

Blessings,

Nina

What weekend?

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

I often find myself asking, “Where does the weekend go?”

Saturday morning is truly the only day of the week when in all reality I could sleep in, but that never seems to be the case! Since I have 3 lovely children on Saturday I get the joy of being the “DD” - “Designated Driver” and with three kids in the house there is always somewhere that someone needs to be and of course I (or occasionally my husband) have to be the one to get them there. Sporting activities, dance classes, competitions, birthday parties, play dates, and on-and-on the list goes. It’s surprising to me that children can have such busy social lives when they have only been alive for a few short years. I’m very thankful for my children and I’m sure if they were forever just around the house I’d be encouraging them to get out and be busy.

Ah well I guess these are just the woes of a mother on-the-go, but I’m sure there are many other parents that can relate too.
I invite you to share your comments & let me know what your Saturdays are like? If you can offer any insights on how to reclaim my Saturdays, please share your thoughts. In the meantime I’ll continue to anxiously await the day when my kids are old enough to drive. I’m sure the issue will then become who gets to use the car? And when? At least I still have a few years to go before having to cross that bridge so I won’t worry about that for now…

Great Christmas Gift Giveaway ‘09

Friday, November 13th, 2009

This year the event will be presented by the Rumble KIDZ on behalf of Liberty International Church.  We invite you to join us on Sunday, December 13, 2009 for an unforgettable Worship Experience lead by children giving back to their community!

Everyone has heard the economic reports but as a church we are believing in faith that God will provide for the many families needing help this Christmas. We are encouraging children and their families to really focus on the spirit of Giving & Generosity this Christmas.

If you are in need of a gift for your child please complete the GGG Registration Form and join us on December 13th during our Worship Experience.  If you are in a position to “give” this Christmas than we would encourage you to join us any Sunday during the month of November to get information about our iReach Campaign.

Regardless of whether you give or receive this year, we want you to be a part of these celebrations, as we  highlight young men and women doing amazing work for God’s Kingdom!

We hope to see you soon, be blessed always.

Dave & Jess
